Testing & Administrating Teller Acuity Cards® II

Preferential Looking Acuity Test for Pediatric Visual Acuity Standard tests for visual acuity depend on verbal responses from the test subject. Teller Acuity Cards offer an easy method for screening any non-verbal patient including adults but especially infants and children. Vision testing is crucial to a child’s healthy growth and development and requires a different testing approach. Teller Acuity Cards® II can test for pediatric visual acuity without requiring a verbal response by recording an infant’s eye preference or behavior to a series of cards showing stripes of different widths also known as ‘gratings.’ This video will help you and you better understand how to test and administer the test.
