Rabin Contrast Sensitivity Test

Detects subtle effects of defocus, low luminance and glare.

Log CS increases 0.25 steps per row (0.05 Log CS per Letter).

Must be used with Cat. No. 2425 Large ETDRS Illuminator Cabinet.

Rabin Contrast Sensitivity Test uses several different levels of contrast to find the patient's true sensitivity. The line progression helps to detect early signs such as defocus, glare and low luminance problems. Because of the precision of each contrast level, the large Illuminator Cabinet (2425) must be used. Without the use of the cabinet, the contrast levels will not be accurate.
