Shipping
Where we ship. Precision Vision ships domestically throughout the United States and internationally to 28 countries served by our authorized carriers (DHL Express Worldwide, USPS International). For destinations outside our standard shipping zones, please contact us for a custom freight quote.
How orders ship. Most products ship from our manufacturing facility in Woodstock, Illinois. Standard transit is 3-7 business days domestically and 5-14 business days internationally, depending on destination, customs clearance, and carrier service level. Express options are available at checkout where supported.
Heavy equipment and freight items. Illuminator cabinets, large projectors, and other freight-class products are shipped via commercial freight carrier. For these items, shipping is quoted separately based on dimensions, weight, and destination. If your cart contains a freight item, you may be contacted post-order to confirm freight charges before shipment.
Tracking. Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with carrier tracking information. International orders include a customs declaration; tracking visibility may be limited during customs clearance in some destinations.
Shipping costs. Calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, and selected service level. International orders are exclusive of import duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and customs charges — these are the responsibility of the buyer and are collected by the carrier at delivery.
Delivery times. Estimated delivery dates shown at checkout are estimates only. Precision Vision is not liable for carrier delays caused by weather, customs, holidays, or other factors outside our control.
Returns
30-day return window. Most products in new, unused condition may be returned within 30 days of receipt for a refund of the product price (excluding shipping). Returns require prior authorization — please contact us with your order number and reason for return to begin the process.
Non-returnable items. The following are not eligible for return except in the case of manufacturing defect:
- Custom-printed or custom-configured charts and panels
- Calibrated instruments (where calibration certificates have been issued)
- Software products and digital downloads
- Special-order items not normally stocked
- Clearance, refurbished, or sale items marked "final sale"
- Consumables (lens cleaning wipes, alcohol pads, single-use accessories)
How to return.
- Contact us at support@precision-vision.com or 1-800-PRECISION (1-800-773-2474) within 30 days of receipt
- Provide your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for return
- We'll issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging (if available) with all included accessories, documentation, and certificates
- Ship via traceable method; the buyer pays return shipping except where the return is due to manufacturer defect
- Once received and inspected, refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7 business days
Damaged or defective items. Inspect your shipment upon arrival. If any item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 5 business days with photos of the damage and packaging. We'll arrange a replacement or refund — return shipping for damaged or defective items is at our expense.
Refund processing. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Credit card refunds typically post within 3-10 business days depending on your card issuer; ACH or wire refunds within 5-7 business days. Original shipping charges are non-refundable except where the return is due to our error.
Warranty claims
Most Precision Vision manufactured products carry a one-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty claims after the 30-day return window are processed separately from returns — please see the Terms of Service for warranty details or contact our support team.
International returns
International returns are accepted under the same 30-day policy. Return shipping, import duties, and any associated costs to return an item to the United States are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend insuring the return shipment; we cannot refund items that arrive damaged or are lost in transit.
